What is Patriotic?

The bridges are burning
the stomachs are churning
as smoke fills the air
the world keeps turning
nobody's learning
nobody seems to care
the war is raging
the goverment is caging
the people to our empty heads
we're no longer growing
we're no longer thriving
soon enough we'll all be dead
the presidents not thinking
he stares with eyes unblinking
on the country that once was great
the tears are falling
the fire's not cooling
is this our fate?
the drums are banging
the orchestra is playing
the music is chaiotic
the mother is crying
for a freedom that's dieing
